A Tale of Two Sophies...
It was the best of times..

I love Sophie! ...but my daughter doesn't.
Oh Sophie Sophie... how I love thee! At first I was sceptical, and then I read about you.. If you don't know who she is you can find out here It's a touching story but I must say I was like 20 bucks! for a chew toy? But everyone raved how much their child loved her, how the families with dogs had to get one for them too!, even distress stories about families loosing dear Sophie and having to frantically find a way to get a hold of one. One of my favorite online stores had a sale and I got her for $15 plus they had free shipping. I figured why not! I spend $15 on silly things like soda or pizza why not Sophie.. Even Martha Stewart featured her!
Anxiously I waited..
And it arrived quickly..
And I was so excited, and even my 4 yr old liked her but.... the teething one didn't.
Nothing wrong with the doll, my daughter just doesn't care for her.. and I am bummed..
Some babies like swings, bouncers, swaddling and some don't..nothing we can help..
So Sophie most of the time gets kicked around the house and I find her in several places like this..
Ohh poor Sophie..today I tried..And my daughter gave you a look of annoyance...
And then she kicked you...
I give up.. Sophie is now mine!
And so the Challenge, is everyday I will post a pic of Sophie, maybe a where is Sophie Challenge once in a while. You know kind of how people do that with lawn gnomes? Sometimes I will write about her.. sometimes It'll be just a picture... If you have an abandoned Sophie, Send me you picture!
If you have a baby who LOVES Sophie and isn't a jerk like my kid (just kidding I love her regardless) then send them to me! I just couldn't let Sophie live this kind of life.. unloved... abandoned.. *sniff..
